Your templates. Within reach of AI.

Lawlift MCP connects AI assistants to your governed template library and Lawlift’s document tools.

Bring your rules to the conversation.

Model Context Protocol is an open standard for connecting AI applications to tools and data. Lawlift MCP makes Lawlift’s capabilities accessible through that kind of connection, so an assistant can use your templates instead of recreating their logic in a prompt. About the MCP standard

The interface changes; your approved template remains the source of the document’s rules. An assistant calling a rule-based template is different from asking a model to write the entire document.

A library the assistant can use.

Lawlift MCP connects document generation, template building and document work in one interface.

  • Generate from governed templates

Use case data with an existing template. Its approved clauses and conditions determine the assembled document.

  • Build templates

The assistant can start Lawlift’s auto-templating: existing documents become the draft of a rule-based template. You review and approve the proposed content and logic as usual.

  • Draft and review

For work no fixed template covers, the assistant can also call Lawlift’s AI drafting and review features. Their output is not deterministic and is reviewed before use.

Ask in context. Use the approved source.

Consider a request to prepare an NDA using matter details already available to an assistant. An MCP-connected workflow can use those details with the relevant Lawlift template, instead of asking the model to improvise the agreement.

An AI interface. A rule-based core.

The assistant handles the conversation. The approved template generates the document: rule-based, deterministic and exactly as you approved it.
