Agentic templating.

An AI agent turns the contracts you already trust into a rule-based automation template. Your experts review it once. Every document generated from it follows exactly what they approved.

AI for the setup. Your rules for every draft.

Agentic templating is Lawlift’s way of building automation templates with AI. You hand the agent one or more existing documents. It works through them on its own: it compares the versions, proposes a master text, finds what changes from case to case and turns that into clauses, variables, questions and conditions.

The result is not a finished document but a template: deterministic logic your experts can read, test and approve.

From precedent to template in four steps.

The agent takes over the work that used to make template projects slow. Your experts keep the decisions.

  • Upload

Start with what you have: a single precedent or several versions of the same agreement, for example the last five supplier contracts.

  • Compare and merge

The agent compares the versions, proposes one master text and marks optional and alternative passages instead of choosing between them silently.

  • Structure the logic

Case-specific details become variables. The agent drafts the questionnaire and the conditions that decide which clause appears in which variant.

  • Review and approve

You see the proposal in the visual editor, adjust what you would have written differently, test the important variants and approve the template.

Review once. Rely on every document.

When AI writes each document from scratch, the review moves to the end of the process and repeats with every output. Each draft can phrase things differently, so each draft needs a lawyer’s full attention.

Agentic templating moves the review upstream. Your experts check the template, its wording and its rules once. Every document generated from it inherits that review: the same answers always produce the same document, without tokens, variance or hidden choices.

Review instead of build.

Building a template by hand means analysing precedents and wiring up logic before the first document is generated. That can take days, and for complex document sets, weeks. With agentic templating, your experts review a prepared proposal instead of constructing every element, and a first template can be ready within hours. Automation pays off sooner, and smaller document types become worth automating too.

Templates your AI assistant can use.

Approved templates become tools. Through Lawlift MCP, an AI assistant can start agentic templating from documents in its context and generate documents from your approved templates, instead of improvising the wording itself. Lawlift MCP is built but not yet publicly released.

The assistant interprets the request. The template you approved produces the document.

Built for professional secrecy.

Agentic templating runs on AI models integrated through Microsoft Azure and Amazon Bedrock in line with the professional rules for lawyers, with processing in the EU. Inputs and outputs are not stored after processing and are never used to train models. Lawlift is hosted in Germany.

Your contract. Your first template.

Bring a contract you use often. In the demo, you see agentic templating propose the template, and you generate the first documents from it yourself.
