Lawlift has acquired “Create”, the document-automation product line of Swiss provider CASUS. The move consolidates strengths in the German-speaking market and further cements Lawlift’s position as the leading document-automation platform in the DACH region.
“Create is an impressive product, and we have deep respect for what the CASUS team has built over the last years,” Lawlift said of the acquisition.
What this means for “Create” customers
For existing “Create” users, a smooth transition is the priority: Lawlift is committed to keeping the service running reliably and preserving the familiar functionality, with support continuing seamlessly.
CASUS will now focus on AI-powered legal tools integrated directly into Microsoft Word and its own web application. CASUS founder Fabian Staub called the acquisition “a fantastic fit,” given Lawlift’s standing as the leading document-automation platform in the DACH region.

The acquisition fits Lawlift’s growth trajectory: more customers, a stronger offering and a broader base for the deterministic document automation that law firms, legal departments and associations across the German-speaking world rely on.
