CMS automates managing director employment contracts for international automotive supplier LEONI AG with LAWLIFT.
LEONI AG, together with CMS, was able to optimize the creation and automation of its managing director employment contracts as well as the employment contracts of upper management for 25 countries. In particular, the company’s central HR department now benefits from the fast, efficient, and legally compliant creation of contracts and additional agreements - each individually tailored to the respective location and in the respective local language.
As a globally operating automotive supplier, the company needed a solution to efficiently and uniformly create employment contracts for 25 countries. The previous manual processes were time-consuming and error-prone. Additionally, differing legal requirements in each country made it difficult to standardize the contracts.
Especially for countries such as China or Egypt, the creation of bilingual contracts had previously been time-intensive and prone to errors. Manual drafting required not only a considerable amount of translation work but also flawless formatting and structuring of the texts in the respective languages.
By implementing the templates designed by CMS in LAWLIFT, a tailor-made solution for the digital creation and automation of contracts was developed for the automotive supplier. The cloud-based application now allows contracts to be created that can flexibly adapt to the individual requirements of various countries and legal systems, while simultaneously ensuring the harmonization of internal company guidelines.
Thanks to LAWLIFT’s intuitive user interface, the company’s central HR team can independently generate the necessary contracts with just a few clicks - at anytime, from any location, and in compliance with the legal requirements of each country. Via a secure link, contract templates can be dynamically and precisely adapted to the specific needs of each location.
Based on a developed, flexible template, the dynamic questionnaire in LAWLIFT automatically adjusts the required queries for each contract scenario. In this way, all automated contracts can always be created precisely and remain exactly tailored to the specific legal requirements of the respective country.
Within a few minutes - instead of the previously several hours of manual work, including significant coordination with local subsidiaries - HR managers at the headquarters in Germany can create legally compliant contracts for all international locations.
With LAWLIFT, CMS has taken the contract processes of an international automotive supplier to a new level: automation enabled continuous standardization and quality improvements, even with specific recommendations on terms. The potential error rate dropped significantly, which not only increased legal certainty but also streamlined internal processes considerably. At the same time, contract management costs were significantly reduced - all while maintaining a high level of compliance in all relevant markets.
"Thanks to LAWLIFT, our client can now handle contract processes not only faster, but also smarter. For us, it's a perfect example of how technology creates genuine added value."
