Data privacy in the Add-in

The Word Add-in processes your documents and inputs to create, translate or review text. How that data is handled is governed by Lawlift’s privacy terms.

Good to know

• Where to find privacy information: The Privacy Statement is linked at the bottom of the sign-in screen - for example on the two-factor authentication step (see the screenshot in Sign in & Single Sign-On).

• Processing per the privacy terms: Document content and your inputs are processed solely to carry out the action you triggered - for example drafting, translation or document tests. Lawlift’s applicable privacy terms govern this.

• Access through your organization: Which features are available to you is controlled by your organization. If access is restricted, contact your administrator (see Access restricted).

• When in doubt, read up: For specifics on storage, retention and processing, please refer to the Privacy statement - that is the binding version.
