Admins can switch individual AI features of the Word add-in on or off for each role. Users without AI access see a home screen with Create Document, Apply Formatting and Compare Documents.
Before it starts writing, the AI now recognizes what kind of document you are drafting. It then runs extra quality checks on the result. Each draft produces one document.
The Word add-in sign-in screen now offers a Sign in with SSO button. Use it to sign in with your Microsoft account when automatic sign-in doesn’t start on its own.
Conditions can now check date fields, for example whether a date falls before or after a given day. They can also show content only on the even or odd repetitions of a repeating section. The editor shows how these filters are connected.
The Word add-in creates a bilingual version of your document, with the original and the translation side by side. You can reopen a translation that is still in progress.

Answers can now be formatted on output, and URL and date checks are stricter: a URL needs a real domain ending. Export is available once every answer is valid, and collapsed sections with an invalid answer open automatically. The Word add-in shows a matching banner and keeps you in the section until the answer is valid.
Guardrail templates now have their own list. A badge shows each template’s type, and a share button appears when you hover over it. Since the end of May, you can also export guardrail templates and import them for other users and customers.
When you export a document, Lawlift can now pass it on to your own systems or to a third-party service. The Lawlift team sets up the connection with you.
Datasources can now be chained, so one builds on the result of another. A new transformer removes duplicate values. Datasources can also sign in to your organization’s systems with the user’s SSO account.
